Hello renju fans!
The interesting news from Japan. The public broadcasting, NHK, broadcasts the TV drama. The most famous drama (the most popular program now, because it is typical historical program and popular among old people) is called" Atsuhime" .
This picture is one scene of Atsuhime with playing Gomoku.That girl is hiroine of this story, Aoi-Miyazaki. She got married to "Shogun" (top exective of goverment) about 150 years ago. She helped Shogun and became famous.
This scene is enjoying Gomoku. He said he didn't like Igo so she proposed Gomoku and easily won for Shogun. This scene is appearing many times so Nihonrenjusha helped how to move and situation on Igo board. Mr. Mitsumori, Kubo and Okabe helped NHK broadcasting. We hope this will make renju more popular in Japan. |
