Here in this article, I will collect and present information about the Renjunet and ORC service maintenance.
The latest information: Yesterday (April 24, 2008), the service was turned off for couple of hours, due to the scheduled transfer of the server from one location to another. At the same time, the IP address of RenjuNet and ORC changed. The old IP address (http://61.57.134.225/~renju/) is no longer valid.
From now on, please use one of the following URLs to connect RenjuNet:
http://www.renju.net
http://renju.net
http://daiwan.info/~renju/
http://123.50.40.247/~renju/ (this should be working even in case of DNS problems)
The timing of this maintenance yesterday was chosen purposely so that it would not influence the service during the coming Team World Championship, this way we can all enjoy the games show by organizers of TWC without interruptions. |
