Once upon a time I thought that there is only one championship in renju and only one champion. When I grew elder and participated in TWC-2002, I realized that there is quite a lot of champion titles in renju. During 2 years there are about 2(AT)+4..5(Youth)+2(Email)+4..5(Team)=12 to 14 titles being awarded!
Here is the full list. Abbreviations: 'A' means single-player world champion (AT), 'W' means a world champion among ladies (WT), 'Y' means a world champion among youth, 'E' means a world champion in the correspondence renju.

There is a lot of quite amazing facts. For example, the greatest number of WCs (8!!) collected Yulia Savrasova, the second is Kostya Chingin (5), but they both never won WC AT. And the third player is Ando, who collected 4 trophies from AT!
As to me, I'm admiring also the result of Konstantin Nikonov, who gained both real (team) and virtual (correspondence) champion titles.
This year will show us about ten new world champions. Who will it be? =)
