Is it possible to tell the referee that he would remind the players about proper writing of the thinking time on protocols? Strangely, it has become popular among Russian players to write down lazily the "remained time on clock" and let all the readers "do complicated math", because readers do not know the tournament time rule. What will reader conclude from 3' time behind player name if the reader does not know the tournament time limit? It is so useless information.
Can anyone teach those players how to calculate "actual spent time", please. Writing down "remaining time" is almost equal to no information value at all, and could be as well skipped from records. |
