Internet Commission

The Internet Commission was Established in 2001, by General Assembly. The purpose of the commission was stated in General Assembly protocol in 1997: The Internet Commission's task is to investigate and develop software for a combination of online- and E-mail games. RIF has the possibility to suggest this software to owners of servers in Internet by licence or free.

This commission is actually trying to find good solutions to the technical issues of email World Championship. It is very obvious that the email system is old fashioned and nowadays we have much more choices for data interaction. In order to be conservative, it is good to keep the email support as an additional function for those who can only afford email access, whereas all the others could enjoy the web access to the games, or even better - to use a special client program.
