Russia, Saint Petersburg, April 1994 (04-30 - 05-06), RIF rule

The playing system of the Championship was following: All teams were divided into two semifinal groups, 7 teams in each. The 4 best teams from each group qualified to the main final (decides places 1-8) and the rest of the teams qualified to "small final" (decides places 9-14). The results of semifinal matches between the teams who played in the same final group were automatically transferred to the finals.
